Mike Villarreal, CEO
Driven by a passion for data-empowered improvement, Mike works at the intersection of data and improvement science. His 15-year tenure in the Texas House and on the tax committee provided extensive property tax policy experience before he earned a Ph.D. from UT Austin. Since leaving the legislature, Mike has led data-intensive improvement projects, published research, and developed data analysis platforms. His background enables him to bridge complex quantitative analysis with practical solutions for decision-making.
Dave Kil, Chief Data Scientist
Dave has been building technology solutions for helping customers improve business outcomes that matter, leveraging data transformation and machine learning algorithms in a number of verticals including education and healthcare. He has helped launch a number of data and research enterprises and has 15 patents to his name. He has also published over 50 papers and a book on AI and machine learning (ML)
Daya Wimalasuriya, CTO
Daya is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge machine learning and AI for social good. With a Ph.D. in Computer and Information Science from the University of Oregon, he brings diverse experience from academia and industry. Daya's background includes roles as a college professor and principal data scientist in ed tech.
